When the cats cooking...

I had a pretty easy Friday morning with Henry while Papa was out hunting. Turkey was in the oven and table was set. I knew I had to get my little man onto something to keep him busy while the hustle and bustle of the last hour of food prep was being tackled. Ever so quietly, I slipped out of his room, as he was engrossed with imaginary play consisting of wild animals, cars and trains. Out of the oven came the perfect golden turkey and onto peeling potatoes, cooking sausage, boiling pots of water, dicing butternut squash. Mixing and mashing, baking and cleaning, all in the hopes to have a marvelous dinner on the table in time for Papa's arrival from a long and cold hunting trip.
Papa comes in, house is still quiet, Henry is still quiet...after about a hour...in his room...alone.
And what does Papa see when he rounds the corner to give cool kisses to his little buddy??

Yeah, ummm...hmmmm...Henry pulled every single toy out of the toy box in the closet, dismantled his bed in order to climb "up the wall, jump on the monkey and slide down to the pool".
Here, Papa and I stood in the door way, speechless. I had no words, I did not know if I should laugh or cry...we laughed and I said to Papa with tears in my eyes "I am going back in the kitchen".
