So everyone should know that when buying produce you should buy whats in season well I shop the reduce produce section religiously...the fruit and veggies are ripe and cheaper . Apples for instance can last months so most times I get 6 organic apples for less than $2.00. Good price considering they're usually $2.00 a pound or more. If the fruit is really ripe, when I get home it goes straight into the blender for a delicious shake. Veggies get throw in to a soup or stir fry and by shopping there first I can usually cut my grocery bill by $10.00. Bonus tip
Debbie Meyer bags work wonders for adding a couple days of life to this already ripe fruit and veggies.
